Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of apaslingo, provided by Apas Ventures LLC ("we", "us"). By using apaslingo you agree to them.

1. Who may use apaslingo

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must have read and agreed to these Terms for you.

2. What apaslingo is

Online language lessons: spoken lessons, vocabulary, grammar and conversation practice. Some lessons are free; others need a paid plan.

3. Your account

Your Apas account is the same one used on apasmath.com. Give accurate details, keep your password safe and tell us at once if someone else uses your account. You are responsible for what is done with it.

4. Payments and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed through Stripe in US dollars. A monthly or yearly plan renews automatically until you cancel; cancelling takes effect at the end of the period already paid. You may ask for a full refund within 7 days of a purchase by writing to info@apasventures.co; after 7 days refunds are at our discretion.

5. Voices and learning

The voices in the lessons are computer-generated (text to speech) and are not recordings of real people. We check our lessons with care, but a lesson may contain a mistake: tell us and we will correct it. apaslingo is a learning aid, not a certified language qualification.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not share your account or the lessons outside your household.
• Do not copy, resell or redistribute the lessons or their audio.
• Do not scrape or download the site with automated tools, or try to get round payment or access controls.
• Do not use apaslingo for anything unlawful.

7. Our content

The lessons, audio, software, text and the apaslingo name are owned by Apas Ventures LLC or its licensors. A purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own learning.

8. No warranty; limit of liability

apaslingo is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is no more than what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Sheridan County, Wyoming, or by binding arbitration at our election.

10. Changes

We may change these Terms; we will tell you of important changes by email or on this site. Using apaslingo after a change means you accept it.
